Default Alarm System...anomaly

R75 alarm system still not synced properly but..... when i manually unlock drivers door(key fob will lock but not unlock) as long as I get the key in the ignition within 10 seconds the alarm will not go off.

Upon taking my son to school this morning I totally forgot to put key in ignition while I strapped him in. The car would not turn over, no ignition lights whatsoever. I thought car was in gear(auto) so fiddled with the gearstick still no lights or turn over. Locked and unlocked car to arm and disarm alarm but nothing.
Then locked car, left it for five minutes then tried and it fired up and everything was working ok but all my radio channels were memory erased so had to re-tune radio. Used it all day and making sure key was in ignition as soon as i got door open and i have had no problems whatsoever.
Just want to know does the alarm system go to that extreme if it is triggered including the radio channels........

Sounds like something isolated the battery?
