Find your local T4 specialist that does the map and pm them but no matter the cost it's probably the most worthwhile mod you will ever do to the car.

Hi Simon,

What you have there is a rather limited edition ‘SVP’ car

See this internal memo to all dealers back in 2005.........

25 March 2005 All Dealers (SA/05/022)
FAO:
Dealer Principal, Sales Manager, All Sales Executives
Priority: Red

The Spring Campaign - Special Value Products (SVPs)

Dear Principal,

Our team of Area Business Managers have been speaking with you, our Dealer partners, over the last few weeks about the exciting Spring Campaign Special Value Products.

The strategy is simple. During the April – June period we aim to promote these “Special Offers,” which provide outstanding customer value through enhanced specifications and aggressive price points.

On the Rover derivatives, we will be promoting a “Rover Upgrade” programme. On MG, we will be promoting the mainstream derivatives as “Le Mans” special offers.

In addition, we are now taking the opportunity to widen this approach by introducing an entry-level derivative, based on an MG ZR 3 door, to allow an even more aggressive start point to the range. The new SVP, priced at £8,495 will allow you to market the MG product in a very competitive way.

Since these SVPs form the backbone of our second quarter campaign, we have ensured that all Dealers have a representative “batch” of cars.
In the case that certain Dealers did not take up the offer from their ABM, then we have taken the decision to order these vehicles on the Dealers’ behalf.

The attachment shows the line up of these new derivatives and their respective retail and wholesale pricing along with Dealer margin. Please ensure that all of your staff are fully aware of these new actions which will ensure that we are placed competitively in today’s market.

Finally, please pencil in your diaries Wednesday 6th and Thursday 7th April for a series of ABM forums to go through the full suite of marketing activities for the Q2 2005 campaign. Further details will be supplied in due course.

Yours faithfully,

Robert Hazelwood
Managing Director, UK Sales & Marketing

Wow....I was working at a main dealer at this time, and although I've heard about the SVP 75, I never knew there was an MG version !

Of interest , mine also has folding rear seats!

Is there an `options` list for the SVP which could also be ordered at the time?

Just about all the cars have folding rear seats, either via the buttons on top or 2 cords under the rear bolster which are pulled to release the back.

I replaced an ordinary LSM for a new LSM with fog light switches and no T4 was needed - i.e. the mileage on the IPK remained the same after fitting the new LSM.
