I just wished they had cleaned the car first!

My car and unfortunately there was no time to clean the car. The car was spotless before the 120 mile drive on a very cold and frosty morning out to the sticks! Up at 06:00 to make the start time, there was another car to film straight after my car.

The car has only ever been hand washed so no way was it going through any IMO scratcher! I am prepared to suffer the "could have cleaned the car" comments.

Happy to see the video linked on the forum, cheers.

The exhaust is standard the back boxes were an optional dealer fit, still OEM.

I didn't have the heart to correct the man when he was in full flight, pushing it I know but not in anyway aftermarket.

Great review he did there Steve, I’m guessing that he hung the Opie Oils air freshener off the rear view mirror as they are a channel sponsor of his, or did you have it on the car anyway?

Mine is just the mere 260 without the supercharger but it still gives me a thrill to drive over the V6s I’ve got and watching the video has made me want to jump into mine and take it for a drive today

Were you able to sit in the car while he was filming and driving, or did you have to wave him goodbye until he returned? That’s very trusting of you if so

Oh and thanks for keeping the Owners Club tax disc holder on the car for the shoot

Hello Paul

The Opie oils was placed there by me, just a coincidence that they sponsor the channel. Jame, "Jayemm" has the owners in the car when filming and the drive pasts leave him at the road side as the owners do the driving at that point.

He a very pleasant chap and as said I have known him due to buying his grandmothers Jeep for a round the UK charity drive.

Pictures of the Jeep in its coat of many colours can be seen towards the bottom of my initial post here https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/...f=47&t=1796766.

Thanks to all who view and have got some enjoyment for the video.

I left the tax disc holder there on purpose and it will remain so.
