I had the pleasure of meeting you dad at his house when he enabled the speedo on my IPK many years ago. If he wants a chin wag at anytime just drop me a pm and Im willing to pop over and have a natter with him if he ever feels up to it.
Please pass on my regards. Sean |

In light of your father's situation and the fact that he has until April been a subscribed member of the club, we would be happy to help you out in being able to offer his car for sale to another member We have given you a two month temporary subscription so that you can freely advertise the car in the cars for sale section or on this section if that's easier for you, that should give you more than enough time to pass it on. Please bear in mind that the Member's Cars For Sale section is a ‘read-only’ area for other members who want to respond, so they will have to Private Message you instead, do check your PM inbox regularly. Best of luck with the sale and please pass on our warmest wishes to your Dad |

Thank you everyone with all your help, support and genuine kind words. It's been a very long time since I have encountered so many nice people. I will get dads 75 up later this evening and i pray someone will love it as much as he did, and be able to look after her. (Dad purchased her with his mothers - my grandmothers - inheritance money. So the car has so much of a level of importance for him) reduced to tears. Thank you everyone... |

Hello all,
My dad was a very proud owner of a Rover 75 CDT Contemporary SE Tourer Auto, in which he purchased with his inheritance from his mother. Dad was a paid member (and a proud one) up until recently. He has been to many meet-ups, helped others with their cars and had help himself. Due to unforeseeable circumstances ratsalad (my dad) has become very ill and no longer responsive. Due to this i have recently became an addition to the 75 club - owning my very own however, this vehicle is not for me (for a number of reasons, including health) it is because of this I want to sell mine/dads (log books in my name now) vehicle. I have met some lovely people here since joining and asking for help on this matter, and I hope one of you memebers will love this car as much as my dad did. He spent a lot of time, effort and love on her and I hope we can find her someone new to be with. Car Rover 75 CDT Contemporary SE,Tourer - Auto Colour Starlight Silver Engine 2.0l CDT Model Contemporary SE Model Year 2004 Mods Bonnet release; Uprated (2 speed) fan; Plenum spyhole; Specialist Components Inline Thermostat Housing (92°C Stat fitted); Leather handbrake grip; Number plates and Grille badge; Torpedos; Pioneer DD and Kenwood (under glovebox) Subwoofer. Date of First Registration: 30/4/2004 Mileage: 115109 MOT + Status: SORN - 11th September 2019 Town/City Coventry She has been very well treated and looked after, there really isn't much wrong with her, the only thing I can point out is a tear in the drivers seat upholstery. I will add a photograph of this. £1000 - ONO |

Hello Cherie.
It is nice to see that you are able to offer your dads car on here with the permission of the owners / management of the club, I am sure someone will take you up on your offer, I have just had a quick look at the MOT and it seems to have a decent back ground of MOT'S I doubt it will be hanging around to long good luck Arctic.

I hope so, i have had her for about 2 months but shes never been driven, obviously i've turned her over and kept an eye out but other than that she has been soaking up the sun with nothing to do. It is a lovely car, and I wish I could keep her and look after her but...i'm not physically or financially able. |
