Default Rover badge on Navigation unit ?

In a youtube video on the introduction of the Rover (1999), there's a quick glimpse of the navigation unit, and on the front face there is a small Rover badge?

Anyone know where I might find one? I thought it looked quite nice :-)

That’s etched on the fascia.

Ah wow, ok. I didn't know that, and can't tell from the video.

Pity the later ones didn't also have that .

I'm pretty certain this has been talked about on here before (a long time ago, can't remember when though )

I've got a feeling it was shown in the early videos and dealership training info, but never actually made it into production ?

I'm sure someone that knows will confirm soon

I’ve never seen one in the wild, only in promotional material. I would imagine a few very early head units had them, but certainly when it came to the first volume production models (including the 1st production line saloon at Gaydon museum) the logo was absent.

I have seen a photo of a car with one, I think the car was for sale and was pre-production.

Very rare but a nice touch, can't be too hard to find an image file of the Rover logo and get it printed as a matt white/black sticker. Maybe I'll have a go when I get a Roundtuit.
