description color says "azul" means BLUE...

there are too many other blues in the photograph to suggest that. Check out the smart car behind it too.

The blue on the underside of the bonnet, yet the bumper is still brown (not to mention the patchiness above the headlights).

blue and brown together on the window pillar

Blue in the sky and the blue of the golf in the driveway, then also look at the finish of the rear door panel, it needs a good cut/polish.

The reflection is muted in the rear panel too, suggesting orange peel. Although it could also be explained by dust.

If it were related to shadows, the paint would appear patchy around the shadows, but it still looks naturally affected by the shadow and light.

I agree it is not blue it is clearly a brown, most likely a re-spray. Could have been blue original, as could be seen in the doorstyle, innersides of the doors etc. Both colours are there to see, blue and brown. But not an original ROVER colour I guess.

Mmmm Texan bars

We still have Maine minerals (pronounce it as minrels ; ) - your alpine pop) mainly in shops, but there are still a few deliveries around.

We couldn't afford the gas bottles for our old soda stream (always press the button three times BEFORE the gas! )

Russet brown was eurgh. It was always on a car with a body contoured with rust. Though I did get half a tank of petrol from my cousins russet allegro when she seized the engine. Drop the tank, and decant it directly into the carina via a large funnel!!!

That definitely left the factory as a Midnight Blue (JQW) LHD manual Connoisseur for Export to Portugal.

There is only one LHD Monogram Spice (IAQ) car recorded in the build records and it's listed as a later model year (2004) exported to Belgium with a Sandstone interior.

Look at the door shuts front and rear in the pictures, Blue all day long. There were 5 Connoisseur diesel Blue 75 saloons in model years preceding 2002 when the boot lid badge was dropped and the dash changed from real wood. This is a model year 2001 car.

That steering wheel has been dyed too. I would say it's an aftermarket respray, but why Brown, I have no idea.
