Cool

Morning all.

What a grand day we had yesterday. We all trundled off to Looe and had a fantastic day on the beach, walked around the shops and sat by the harbour stuffing our kites with scrumptious pasty’s. Was warm enough to leave our coats off.

Then home to change and out in the evening up to Louis tea rooms at Kitt Hill for dinner, Allen n Val joined us as well. Once fed we took my visitors up to the top of Kitt Hill so they could see Cornwall laid out like a giant tapestry. Was clear enough to see right into Plymouth. Home via Waterside to show them the Union Inn.

Morning falling water again last night.

Today is my friends 14th Wedding Anniversary and I’m taking them to lunch at the Lewinick Lodge at Newquay. Hotel and restaurant is perched on the cliffs. Also going to take them to see the replica Supermarine Spitfire that is parked in a front garden. This is a full size replica was one of the “extras” in the film ‘Battle of Britain’. It survived without being blown up.

Morning all.

I'm thankful the weather has been calm these past few days, as my daughter had her 18th birthday bash at the weekend, so I got the marquee out, and now its time to pack it all away.

It gets so damp at night and in the mornings, been waiting for it to dry out, had the side panels on the washing line, seems dry now. woohoo!

G'day fellow residents of the LCOZ - it's NOT raining
According to the BBC, the North East of England has had 135% of it's October rainfall already - with over a week still to go- I can vouch for this by the state of my garden
I'm on computer duties today - a newsletter to create for my Club, and my mate's PC to update - he hasn't installed any of the Windows 10 updates for the last 12 months, so it will take me a while
