Default Classic Motor Show 2019 NEC

Well, we are here and have spent the day setting up our club stand. We are in hall 8 which can be accessed via the ‘Sky Walk’ bridge link from the Piazza, or via hall 4. We are in the Modern Classics collection this year along with the likes of the Rover 200 & 400 Owners Club, the BRM Club, Rover Coupe Owners Club and Rover 800 Club.

The display cars look magnificent and I must say a very big thank you to their owners, Les, Max, Rick and Ian for making them look so fantastic, never have I seen so much polishing in one place.

Hopefully, if time permits I and the others will post up across the weekend with updates and pictures, I always start off with the intention of doing a blog, but it never happens as we get so busy.

For anyone still thinking of coming, click the link below to see the show guide in electronic form to whet your appetite, and remember you still have until midnight tonight to get tickets at the club discounted rate

Hopefully see some off you there.

It was a busy first day on the stand,

Allegroboi and Pete, doing an NEC coffee taste test

Rick-sta talking all things Monogram

Graham1961, Simondi and Les4048 trying to work out who didn’t want sugar

Christopher and Neil Coupland plotting a way of smuggling Les’ V8 out, without him noticing

And Allegroboi and Duotone seeing who would blink first

Some other pics of the day....
