What is this plug for?
Was checking my plenum earlier, since we have had a few wet days. I spied this white plug on the passenger side.
The cable disappears off down through the sealed hole into the wheel arch. The plug is just floating about. I cannot see anywhere to plug it! Is it some sort of wheel-related sensor? The car is an 02-plate Con. SE. Sent from my Redmi 4X using Tapatalk Last edited by richw; 26th October 2019 at 20:38.. |

It is used for an horn but you must have the front head light washers as you have a BBUS in place of it
whereas this car below still as the alarm horn.

Ah! So that's good to know. I was worried that there was something missing, perhaps because of a fault (related to the wheel, like ABS or TC). And yes, I do have headlight washers.
Thanks for the info. Amazing how different these cars can be, really! The sharp-eyed may have noticed that I fitted some fish tank filter foam, as per your previous how-to. Was a nice easy job, and seems to work well. Sent from my Redmi 4X using Tapatalk |
