They all call my Son Lucky at his work etc.
When I asked "why?" I was told he was B Y lucky to live there.
I heartily agree with them.

Just wanted to add some kudos to this post.....had the battery warning light come on a couple of days ago, voltage test showed 11.4v when running so probably not too far from a non starter.

For ease ordered a new voltage regulator from DMGRS with brushes already fitted..... Which showed just how worn mine were.

Without the how to or an alternator off the car I wouldn't have known where to start, but with it although fiddly not too bad. A couple of skinned knuckles though.....

48 hours from the light to the fix (DMGRS priority delivery came in 2 days as advertised), slip rings looked good (car on 155k) and the onboard voltage reading is now 14.2/14.3v with the engine running.

Cheers! Keith.
