Sticky Job
Just wondered what I can put under the boomerang spoiler as a gasket, to fit it to the boot lid? Any suggestions gratefully received so long as super glue is not suggested, or six inch nails. The original appears to be a very thin rubber gasket very sticky on both sides.

If you do not intend to take it off again use Tiger Seal or similar.
It is a silicone based adhesive used in making Luton type van bodies so is pretty strong. I have used it on very old classic caravans where there is no behind the panel fixings. As with all, preparation is the key!

Thanks for your input Brian. I have decided on 3M 5952 VHB. Seems the best bet. Just hope I don’t have to remove it later.
