Is my Turbo missing a heat shield?

I had a mechanic looking under my bonnet tonight (sorting out my cooling system i hope) - He's not sure but when he seen the turbo he says he thinks it should have a cover/heat shield on it because it generates so much heat.

Anyone see anything missing?

I am pretty certain mine is the same. There should be a shield set vertically to protect the alternator. I will take a look tomorrow.
