GB News
For those who are interested in Current Affairs and might like to release their pent-up desire to hear alternative views on topical events discussed with some validity, and in the interests of gentle conversation, there might be some interest in a new news channel on Freeview.
So, not an alternative web site (which might contravene rules of this hallowed organ) due to start on 13/6/21 is the no-prisoners-taken but well informed GB News on Freeview channel 216. Just saying.

Can’t wait to see Andrew Neil back in the seat asking the right questions.

And Piers Morgan, stirring the proverbial brown stuff.

Please, forget the loaded 'wings', it's irrelevant. Sometimes, some birds don't fly straight from the nest, they need to fledge. Either that, or only read the Guardian, you'll find plenty of wind beneath your wings there!
Any alternative to the slavish BBC is worth a bit of patience and worth waiting for to get both sides. Or does an alternative not hold sufficient interest for you?

I can’t watch more than 5 mins of it at a time, keep flicking back to the beeb. The screen resolution is terrible in comparison to other channels and it feels like the presenter is in another room not there with me, lighting is poor. Hope it improves. Missing Andrew Neil who seemd to have gone into hiding. Glad to see that some of the discussions have wandered into alternative narratives.

GB News Ticker
The on screen graphics and their stuttering ticker makes for instant headaches. 😆😆
The fonts are so bad 😭 |
