Radio constantly needs resetting
Every time I start up my ZT I have to enter the code for the radio and reset all the stations previously saved…what’s wrong please and how can I fix it?

You might have the switched live and permanent live connected the wrong way. Have you recently fitted it?

I'm no electrical expert but if what you say is correct would the system not be on permanently? Lee.

Wasn't thinking of Chinese products . I assumed it was a factory system. I wouldn't let anything made there near my car, especially electrical items.

Thanks for these…no, haven’t touched a thing, radio is as it was when I bought the car a couple of months ago. Owners’ book ans workshop manual don’t seem to help. May just have to live with it.

If it is a factory fitted stereo, it has two power feeds, one from the ignition circuit, and one direct from the battery. The battery one maintains the settings when the ignition circuit is switched off. It is worth checking the two cables for power at the grey ISO connector - Purple/Pink (Battery feed, pin 4) & Light Green/White (Ignition Feed, pin 7). And/or fuses 11 & 33.
