I'll keep an eye on my HGV entitlement then.

Mind you, my licence, tacho & CPC cards are downloaded &/or photocopied almost weekly though l don't think l have a seperate record of my test pass.

I've definitely heard of a the loss of entitlement happening for bikers going back years, and them having to retake their bike licence in order to ride again. The issue appeared in the letters pages of a few bike magazines and I think the likes of MAG had warned about it before. Important to at least take a photocopy of your licence before sending it off to be renewed.

The drawback for you with that situation is if the buyer racks up speeding and parking tickets

A bit off topic but I always get concerned about whether they take to road fund tax each month...it does not always show up in the bank so who would be to blame if they messed up and did not take it out of bank??
Ken.

If for example your account didn't have the funds to pay it, dvla will email you and try to take payment again in 4 days..after that failed you have to re apply I believe.

So I guess you would have time to check if it went out OK..also if internet banking after first dd goes out the payment should show up in your dd list.
