Am I missing somthing. I bought my ZT new and chose silver Thought it was by far the most popular colour here in the UK??
Even the Police have gone over to silver for easier re-sale.

Personaly think you should be asking £2,500 for your car. It's high spec and the right colour. Low price maybe putting people off thinking its ruff.

SILVER is the best Colour, but some people just like to disagree!

I'm not trying to sell it:xmas-smiley-002: - it will sell and to the person who will be able to convert the "work" list from cash into their own labour! The previous owner was seeking £2500 but its still got a list of niggly jobs which meant that my low offer was justified, despite the massive amount of work its had.

But if someone wants to start an auction and offer £2500, then do it quickly before I take less!

Unhappy

I am going to have to sell my 03 75 tourer, can't afford to run it now as I have had to stop work. I went to webuyyourcar.com or somrthing similar and was offered £2080.

Will probably take them up on it unless any of you want to make an offer.

It's an 03 Club SE CDTi, 1mth MOT and Tax

thanks for all pms.... Messenger has (rather gentlemanly) persuaded me that I might regret selling immediately and as he's but an hour away I'm going to get it up to him and get some of the list sorted first as he sounds eminently reasonable in both spirit and hourly rate.:xmas-smiley-002:

Bfoot - suggest you post some more info about yours - i.e.what exact spec and colour and condition and mileage - and you might get some interest even though it was my thread:xmas-smiley-002::xmas-smiley-002:

well, its now got a new MOT and some new suspension bushes and generally a few more bits knocked off the 'to do' list! But I think for the longer term I'm still going to look elsewhere - so £2400ish will secure a fine car. There's lots of tax on it if you want it. Remember this has actual bills for about £5000 over the last three years!

I've got a new walnut dash kit specifically for this car/dash that's available, also walnut knob/handbrake and grey leather gaiters (to match the leather piping) - and I might be persuaded to let my new FBH retrofitting kit (fbh, exhaust and dosing pump) go at a decent price.

Worth remembering chaps that Messenger is at Sandhurst (nearish Guildford, Reading etc - Berks) and was a worthy candidate for driving a few miles to - i.e. he's one of us as well and is aware that some of us are not ex-main dealer users, and trying to run cars on a family budget. His BRG Connoisseur SE 2.5 Auto is also rather nice and rather cheap...
