Well, the lady sitting next to me in the middle seat, had pulled her mask down over her neck. So when I asked why she wasn’t wearing the mask, she said “I can’t breathe”. I had just the thing for her, a spare mask with a breathing valve.

Stupid stubborn folk, travelling for social domestic pleasure deserve all they get.
All I hear on the media is 30/40 somethings whinging about medical experts and any political personnel who are just trying to get a sensible message across.
My father and mother in the 1940's just put their own comforts and needs to one side in order to beat the enemy they faced.

Now I hear the blacks in the USA are refusing to be vaccinated against covid 19
in spite of their race dying at rate of 3 t0 1 against whites.
For what reason is that?

Here's real stupid. My boss and his wife (both 75, boss has almost zero immunity due to various ailments), have taken the idiotic decision to visit their daughter who lives in Amsterdam over Christmas. Their 45 year old daughter who lives in a £1 m apartment in central Amsterdam isn't coping well. Wish I had that problem. Its pure selfishness with no regard for the risks whatsoever. Amsterdam is also locked down worse than over here. One of my friends has also, last week jetted of to the Canaries for a week. Its chucking it down with rain there, nothing open. What sort of waste of a holiday is that. I haven't seen my granddaughter for 6 months and my grandson who was born in June at all. Well, for me that's just life at the minute. I can put up with that to be honest. Looking for a nice quiet isolated Christmas with my lovely wife and the moggies. Sheer bliss! Covid will eventually leave us. Take care all.
