Ken,

That's excellent, will add you to the list.

Peter.

Will also add Alanjay to the list. By his own admission he may arrive in a disguised/camouflaged Tourer.

It was good to see you and Lilian, Derek. We weren't ready to eat at the same time, so hopefully we'll get to chat more next time. Alan and the lads kept us entertained though. We really enjoyed the meet, and look forward to the next one.

Great meet and good to see Andy (Shiner) is making progress with his plans to colour match the under bonnet colours of his Frosty with the body work. So far he's only managed to colour the rubber bonnet bump stops in a toning Rust Brown but it's a start. Hope to see his next project finished by next meet, a Rust Brown washer bottle cap.
(Still can't find a tongue in cheek smiley to add to my posts)

Good to meet you both again and also great to see a rare X-Power Grey Tourer again. Always good to see an out of region member go the extra mile for a meet. Like you I'm not ready to eat at Midday, but hopefully next time we meet we can find a suitable compromise, maybe around 2pm when Carvery beef has rested to perfection.

The reason why I eat early Alan is I am a Diabetic and have to eat at regular times other wise I get the shakes

The fact that you needed to eat earlier isn't a problem Derek, as a diabetic myself I am aware of the need for regular timing to control blood sugar, I would have joined you for lunch but I ate breakfast at the waters edge prior to arrival.

As to regular meets I agree and I hope that The Ely will partner with the Kings Arms at Barnet The Ely on The second Sunday and Kings Arms on the fourth Sunday I think the point was clearly illustrated of their suitability over the Star is was when all of us went inside to avoid the inclement weather.

Sorry about being abrupt on arrival but I had storm brewing internally and needed the heads asap hopefully be resolved today when I see the doctor. Thanks to Andy for his patience and understanding of a grumpy old man it was good to see Vinnie again after a long absence hope we will see more of him and car at other meets.
It was great to meet phil63 and Angie a delightful couple from devizes who kindly humoured me when I displayed pics of former meets I have been privileged to attend and we swopped some ideas on how to set up meets in the lovely part of England that is Wiltshire.
I did take some pics I will check them out later and see if they are fit to put up besides Andy's excellent contribution as always apologies to anyone I may have missed
