Tourer window locked

After trying to fit the new steering column obviously the battery has been disconnected, due to taking of and refitting airbag, my rear window wont open. Any ideas? Ive heard tell of a button but I cant see it unless its the wee spongey rubbery bit under the rear wipers cap on the outside which didn't work. Went inside the tailgate trim and couldn't see anything, I have refitted the tailgate manual pull though which is good.
