2003 MG ZT+ CDTi 135 Cheap £600 runaround/workhorse*** SOLD
2003 MG ZT+ CDTi 135 – Cheap run around / workhorse
For sale is my daily driver/workhorse, it’s not a show winner or at a concourse standard but has proved to be reliable daily transport for the last two years. Give it a wash and polish and it looks presentable. Its MOT’d until 28/06/19 I’m not going to pretend and say it’s in excellent condition, its 15 years old, has done 146k and it shows. It’s got a few scratches and scuffs, the worst being the rear bumper where my wife decided to ‘catch’ the garage with it. Although, mechanically it’s absolutely spot on, in the last two years apart from the normal servicing and MOT’s it’s had: - Two track rod ends A rear wheel bearing / ABS sensor New front droplinks Engine mount A detachable witter towbar New exhaust backbox New front shock absorbers MAF sensor and Ron Box Fuel / air / pcv / pollen filters No warning lights on the dash, and drives really well, no knocks or bangs etc. Only selling as I have to get something newer to pacify works car allowance rules (Max of six years old!) Good bits are: - It drives really well, pick up is fantastic since the new MAF and Ronbox No warning lights on the dash Both keys - remote works on one Uses no oil or water It’s never, ever let me down Bad bits are: - Air conditioning doesn’t blow cold (poss re-gas?) Interior is tatty, but functional Scuff on NS rear bumper/wing Wheels need refurbishing as a couple of the tyres need air now and again Was recorded as a 'Cat D' when it was a few years old, apparently due to a smashed rear window! Ideal workhorse, it drives beautifully and has just done a 200+ mile trip to Manchester Airport (I’d drive it anywhere!) Private plate not included and will be removed prior to sale. I’m after £600. Located in Thirsk, North Yorkshire

Still for sale, new car comes next week. Its on nearly 148k now, still pulling like a train.
Drop links have just been replaced with the better ones from DMGRS. It had four quality (Michelin and Continental) winter tyres fitted in November, although unfortunately one got an irreparable puncture so its currently got the spare (straight style) alloy wheel fitted and the 10 spoke wheel is in the boot. The tracking was done at the same time as the tyres. Comes with a Kenwood DAB/Bluetooth radio that works well. Still got five months MOT, or 150 days, works out at £3.33 a day motoring until then! Last chance at £500 no offers, seems a shame to whip the good bits off and scrap the rest, but for £500 its getting to that point! I'm less than a mile from Thirsk train station, I'd be confident to jump in this and drive anywhere in the UK!
