Please make sure that all live connections are adequately insulated when your connections are made to avoid risk of any live wires shorting to an earth 'such as the case of your double din' .
Jeff last year someone did some rewiring for me behind the IPK and they used sello tape to join the wires and no plastic connectors. I had not known about it until later on it was pointed out to me by marina Brian who did some repairs. I was astounded as I paid the guy good money for a good job done. Who would you trust to do some more electrical work for me in the south east on LJW. I have a freeview dvb like the one in the pics to install. I dont have the steady hands to do the job myself. Or maybe you can tell me on Sunday. Thanks

Yes you do as you need to tune your freeview receiver in, just as you would have to if you had bought a new Television for home

It is the freeview box into the back of the bmw widescreen head unit and the ariels which can go anywhere not too obvious. Comes with the usual remote.

Rasa,
I'm busy at work now with repairs.
What I'll do later this evening is make a you tube video up showing how to tune the unit and then I'll post it on here
