E-Mail scams.
The above are getting more popular than phone calls. Just had one from Morrisons to reclaim £500.00 voucher and one from Buzzbegone selling fly repellent, with a choice to buy now or unsubscribe. I don't think it would be wise to click on either option.

I had a new scam email today from a site claiming to be from HM courts & tribunals.

HMRC, Amazon, Paypal, DPD, Net flix - all the regular scamming email purport to come from these reputable companies.
I came SO SO close to being scammed during the lockdown. In April I received a notification that my TV licence was up for renewal on the 1st May. I object to the TV licence and never pay it when it's due. A week after the 1st May, I received an email inviting me to renew. It was overdue and so I thought I'd renew on line as I was shielding at the time. All the fonts on the email were identical to the renewal notice. I was just about to pay and I thought - 'I haven't signed up to emails from TV Licencing'. Then I noticed the amount to pay was £3 different from the paper notification and then you notice that the licence number is wrong. Outlook allows you to report a phishing scam. You can also forward the email to the Suspicious Email Reporting Service (SERS): [email protected] https://www.actionfraud.police.uk/report-phishing.
