pinchbolts
rimmers diagram for lower pinchbolt RYG101220 shows this bolts orientation relative to the hub. is this correct ? with each side of the hub pinch being equal in every width and centre cut , size, plus hole, and surface dimensions, does it really matter ? or should the bolt be fitted with the nut on that particular side. ?

In theory this shouldn't matter as your tightening on two flanges , . I always fit the bolt in the same orientation as the top hub pinch bolt Last edited by TourerSteve; 25th June 2021 at 18:37.. |

I always fit them with the nut facing the rear of the car.
