As i suggested it, I suppose I'll have to find somewhere to meet! I'm tied up for the next week or so but watch this space...............near the end of april? A sunday?

Hope we get more interest.

Locations that come to mind:-

Chatham dockyard outlet centre or the pub up the road by the lock. Lots of naval history and walks along the river. Dickens centre for families. Pub or shopping mall for shelter.

Malta Inn by the river medway locks near Maidstone. Walks along the river. Pub only for shelter.

Any other suggestions? Caibrax, your close by - suggestions?

I have been doing some research for a meet and found two pubs that seem to have a good size car park.

The Flying Horse Inn
The Lees Boughton Aluph
Ashford Kent TN25 4HH

The Blacksmiths Arms
Cudham Lane South
Cudham
Kent
TN14 7QB

I have not contacted them yet but can do so if you want. To be honest you don't really need much more than a pub as you spend all of your time talking cars in the car park.

I would be happy for this. I used to organise meets on various forums but gave up due to lack of interest. They generally were at The White Hart in Brasted (A25 Westerham) so easy to get to from many places & only about 2 miles from the M25 at Junction 5.

Perhaps somewhere near Maidstone or Sittingbourne would be most central for people in North Kent? For example, Ashford is a bit too far east for someone coming from Dartford, and Cudham a bit too far west for someone coming from Ashford.

I'll be happy wherever it is, as long as it's within 40 miles or so of Rochester.

Can't really suggest anywhere, as usually when I go out to places they tend to be near my work in West Sussex...!
