I know nothing about the intricacies of auto boxes or the manufacture of fluid for them but surely if the required standard is N402 (JF403E & JF506E) then anything that meets that standard can be used? Otherwise where is the point of the standard?

There's a lot of decent companies offering suitable ATF for considerably less. Rimmer's want £42 for 4 litre, if you look at Mannol multivehicle you can get 8 litres for £36, I got a 20 litre drum for about £86 a while ago that was including shipping from Germany

Thank you for posting yes I also like to shop around, but being as I have ordered the oil and got a different one to my order.

I am really trying to find out could if it can be used in our cars or do I return it and purchase what as been highlighted by Paul & John, in the link below.

If the oil that as been sent me is ok to use I will use that as a winter change or as a flushing oil and add this one below come spring

I have sent them a message asking the same question also about returning but at no cost to me hopefully.

As I may have mentioned before my Auto has its fluid changed regularly at a Long established EX MGR Dealer and they use Millers Oils .

this is whats in my old bus ..
Millermatic ATF SP III-WS

And its only managed 151k so far without a problem ..
theres No mention of N402 in the specs now ,

but lots of other cross references .

The Three Bloo's
Wifey's Zr105, MY CDTI & 260 #50 and
Number One sons 1.8T in Firefrost
When I were a lad
Zero to 142 in 10.25 secs at the Pod on my Blown Norton.
