The high idle would suggest air is getting in somewhere, re losing power under accelerating, does it clear a bit if you ease off on the accelerator? If so that could be plugs or coil packs. Is there a T4 anywhere near you, would take all the guesswork out of it.

Same problems around this way Steve,I think they make the cards out before they knock on the door.

Mind you the Yodel driver,hammers on the door nearly causing the bungalow to shake,sending Georgie crazy so we always hear them
