Default Wireless reverse camera.

Hi, I’m looking to fit a reverse camera to my MG ZTT. However running the wires from the camera through the roof lining or under the carpets is something I want to avoid.

I have an android double din unit (navall) so I have the screen. Has anyone fitted a camera without these wires? I still want to screen to be triggered by putting into reverse, so I guess I’d need a feed from the reverse light circuit switch?

Eddie

I have both a reversing camera under tow ball and a recording car cam watching out the rear window. Reversing camera cable runs under the edge of the carpet, to feed the screen in the radio at the front.

Car cam feeds through the head lining, to the front facing cam tucked in behind the drivers side visor.

Both routes are especially easy in the car, all you need is some sort of thin cane, or flexible rod - even a metal coat hanger, to help fish cable through.

Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.

Just a thought mate, but because each end doesn’t have constant power, is there a delay between selecting reverse, and the image appearing on the screen?
