Brake Pad Warning Light
Had new brake pads fitted a few weeks ago as warning light came on. All was well at first but now warning light coming on intermittently. Anyone got any ideas what the problem might be?

Check the wire from the pad warning connection, might have worn through 😎

you dont say if you had new pad warning switch replaced. if it came on before , it will come on again if worn. as above check the wiring for any damage along the cable length.

As others have said when you had new pads fitted they will have had to fit a new sensor as the old one is sacrificial. If the sensor cable isnt correctly routed and clipped then the wheel will foul the cable when on full lock and will wear it through this will break the curcuit and bring the light on.

Then it is possible he hasn't made sure they dont catch the tyre when you turn a corner and it has rubbed through the wire
