Cool

Still recovering from being sunburnt.

Bloomin’ neck constantly itching. Slapped enough cream on to sink a battleship.

Still nice bit of chicken breast, mash n peas for tea. With a fresh orange for dessert. Drunk lots of water as well.

Banana is ready to be collected tomorrow.

Cool

Good morning everyone from cloudy Cornwall.

Still suffering with the sunburn, all my own fault.

Collecting Banana this morning. Hoping to be able to give her a wash today, covered in dust from the weekend.

Glad you got through your procedure, does not sound pleasant at all!
I only hope the four nurses were a bit of a distraction from the procedure itself for you

Morning all, Cloudy skies & cooler than of late Top temp today 18C, I'll take that over the hot muggy sweaty stuff

Thanks Jeff I could barely walk with muscle pain when I got home from my legs being tensed up in those stirrups for 30-40 minutes, You gird your loins when needles & other pointy paraphernalia are around your nether regions
Just had a long hot bath to relax in

Had a lovely lunch at the Butt&Oysrter pub overlooking the river and then took a visit to see the well known Ship Graveyard there.

Unfortunately the tide was out the time we were there so I am definitely going to go back to take some more photos of the wrecks when they are partially submerged.

Here is one I took of the wrecks...

WoW! Love the picture of the wrecks, Great atmospheric pictures Sir

Man, I wouldn't wish this heavy summer cold/flu thing on anyone. Its not covid, we've both tested negative. Wee bit choked up, flu like aches and pains. thumping head, even less energy than I usually have. It has this really annoying feature of feeling "reasonable" then within an hour you feel absolutely cr@p again I was considering going out for a bit of shopping earlier then rapidly went right off the idea. Ging is a few days ahead of me and kinda coming out of the other side of it but I'm not, not yet anyway.

Wish I'd had the camera handy earlier. We usually only see one Bullfinch, maybe with its partner, on the feeders, there were three bright red males on the feeders, one passing seeds to a youngster keeping out of the way at the top of the pole.

Got a Whatsapp from daughter and son in law. They have driven down through France to watch Le Tour and are currently camped on a mountain road, waiting for Les bicyclettes. It seems that there is a tradition of "Tour Loonies" riding around at silly o' clock in the mornings blasting hooters and playing loud music (no doubt after plenty of biere and vin rouge or blanc) which may explain the eejuts at the sides of the roads which we see on't telly!
Bon matin!
