There is an excellent "how to" that covers bumper removal https://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/for...ad.php?t=86343. I became quite expert at bumper removal, the fan failed on my old 1.8T, replaced it, replacement was duff so had to replace it a second time. Had bumper removal down to about 20 minutes!
