Default Norfolk and Suffolk

We live in Lowestoft which is a nice town but the main reason for us moving here was the bargain house prices. You can get a lot of house here for your money!

That's another reason why we're looking at Norfolk

They all have webbed feet and more than 5 digits on each hand in Norfolk.

On serious note though it is a nice county. However east Anglia can be quite dry and sunny.

You'll be close to a number of RAF bases. Marham, were the RAF's F35s are based, as well as Lakenheath, home to F15's and just recently USAF F35s and Mildenhall the base for the US tankers.

We've been looking to move out of Suffolk recently and Lincoln has caught our attention. Hoping to spend a few days that way soon to get a feel for the area.

Best of luck with the move, can be stressful though.

Dry and sunny sounds good to me, I'm sure the cars will appreciate that too. Yes hopefully we'll get to see some planes flying over now and again, don't mind being near a RAF base at all

Lincoln is nice, if we didn't need to be closer to areas further down south we would have considered moving up there.

It’s a good choice. My thoughts are that as soon as you leave Lincolnshire/Kings Lynn and enter what a friend called ‘the secret way into Norfolk’ (it’s really not that difficult to find, just keep off the main road), things seem to slow down. Cars are fewer, roads are better maintained, which is almost instantly noticeable.
The only problems I can forsee are: learning the language and signing the Council secrecy form (so you don’t recommend others moving to Norfolk)

They have problems with right and left angle turns. Just my impression when I was there for a period. Chris.S.
