Thanks Allen for organising our entry. We had a very interesting time getting there however!
Since we were in Plymouth, we'd planned the ferry, but when we got there, all lines were red. There was a small gap in one line so we sneaked in rather than wait on the main road. Kept hearing " would the owner of the black jag in line 7 please reverse out now and rejoin the queue!". When we realised they meant our black 75 and the wait would be over an hour, we decided to drive around to save time. Cue manic laughter! It actually took from 11am at the ferry to 1pm at car park 3, where we were informed the car park was closed Lynn put on her best pleading look, and we were in. Due to stress, swmbo wasn't feeling sociable, but we nevertheless had a good time. Weather was amazing, and we hope to come to another meet sometime. We passed up on a fill up on the Shell station on the way in since we had 'plenty of fuel', but after the jam on the way back, the Shell station had run out. Dozens of classics all with the same issue. Filled up on the A30 later on running on fumes at that point. The car ran great all day, but I seem to be in the middle of possible fuel clip syndrome at the moment
Tried to upload some photos, but the system won't accept even one photo at standard iphone definition. I'll have to revert to Tapatalk again which resizes the photos before posting
