Morning all.

Rich - hope all goes as well as it can. Thinking of you and yours.

Chucked it down overnight but dry now. Due to stay that way but positively freezing at a mere 18 degrees .

Take care everyone.

Finally had enough of the Sky remote, having to press the most used buttons harder and harder. Decided to give it the driver's door switchpack treatment, pulled it to bits, cleaned the PCB and back of the button pad with an electrical cleaner. Made a hell of a difference . . . . wonder how many remotes end up being replaced for the lack of a five minute clean.

Most of them don't come apart any more (glued together!), so you have to get a new one! Built in obsolescense!

The latest manufacturer's "trick" is not producing spare parts or back up!

Its a Sky+ remote, one screw and a load of clips holding it together. Remove the screw then work your way around splitting the two halves. It was getting really annoying, the number 1 button in particular, possibly the most used on the whole thing, you'd have to press it hard or multiple times, now just need to touch it.

Cool

Morning everyone.

At last we got a thunderstorm, all 15 minutes of it. Still at least it feels less humid this morning.

Morning Bob, morning all.

Dull and grey here. Rained overnight but dry now and due to stay dry throughout the day.

Quizzie's off out with Bertie soon - so I should have a quiet afternoon .

Rich - hope yesterday went as well as it could.

Take care everyone.

It’s mainly the same here, no sun and not hot either.

Well yesterday was my mum’s funeral, there was about 40 people there and mainly were her friends for a long time. At the crematorium I had a member for someone I had not met before , but a member from the Rover clubbed ,
