Default How I repaired my undertray

Warning: this is pretty edge of the seat stuff . . . don't get too excited.

Before: All four of the bumper holes were damaged.



Tools you will need:



I used a 1 metre x 20mm x 2mm Alu strip from B & Q (£7). Stuck with Araldite and pop riveted for extra security. 7mm spire or chimney clips boring an 8mm hole through the undertray and using 5mm rivets used 4.8mm hole for a snug fitting. Also rubber faced washers keeps it all tight.

Nice repair! My car didn't come with an undertray which I'm sure is why my A/C compressor failed. Thankfully I was able to buy one from a very nice fellow member of this forum.
