Rear Courtesy Light Dropped Out!
My rear interior courtesy light dropped out and was left dangling on the wiring.
Is this a common problem? I have not touched it, and my son is claiming innocence. It looks like two of the clips have disintegrated. They seem to be unavailable new. Has anyone got any ideas for a fix. Thanks, guys!

Happened to me, used lots of super glue at the time because no better idea came to my mind.
I suppose your clips have gone missing?

Thanks Andre. At least is just isn't mine then!
I will have to have a look for the clips. All I could see was some fragments of plastic that dropped out.

Well, they are just some plastic lugs, not very robust ones by design

Happened to mine, although I was a bit heavy handed so caused it, but luckily managed to find a replacement. I still have the broken one if you can find anything else, or need one to practice on. FOC naturally.

Please notice this is another piece of German kit, made of plastic, that fails.
I wonder if there is a method to this madness. |

Mine also did this, although being battered by a massive Christmas tree probably did the damage.

There is a difference in the lugs - there are shorter lugs and longer lugs. Not sure which came first, but try to get one with the longer lugs I suggest.

Make a spring lug out of a tin lid and glue it on.
