Default S544 aox

Good morning all.

I have recently purchased a well known car to the club S544 AOX. A very sorry for itself pre production car.

If anyone has any information it’s past that would be highly appreciated. I know it’s been through a few hands in the past.

For updates on the rebuild follow out Facebook page.

Thank you.

I believe the black hazard/central locking surround was a pre production only thing. So that's proper rocking horse poo 😄

If you enter S544 AOX into the search bar of the forum, anything known should come up. The last time I revisited this car was in 2020 to post up some photos on behalf of a previous owner from my Flickr account. At the time of this I recall seeing the photos showing the car to be in disarray, it looked to be a huge undertaking to restore it.

Congratulations on saving S544 AOX

The previous owner to be was the garage owner who was going to do the work. He did some and fair play to him! He has just run out of time. I’m going to tackle the rest of the restoration to get the old girl back on the road.

Glad to see the car has moved on to good hands, and not been scraped - once it's crushed they're gone forever

Do we know what happened to Scouse1958 ? The other thread showed him as the owner, albeit from a while back. I've updated this now Josh
