As mentioned, I do not want to do this operation twice in attempt to to fix it cheap Just crossing my fingers that this solenoid is the culprit in my case.

Hi
I hope they send you the correct solenoid
They sent me the wrong one a couple of years back and never replied to my messages.
Fingers crossed for you.!

Hi,

Bought this one: https://www.ebay.com/itm/283666853266
Seems to be the correct one and hope quality is OK. Often blinded by the price, but gives this one a try.

I guess the ones from DMGRS are good, but a lot Import charges are added when ordering things to Norway. The exception are when ordering from VOEC registered companies where only the Norwegian VAT are added. At the moment it is just Rimmerbros and Ebay that has this where I can source Rover 75 parts :/ There might be others for all I know...

Hi again
I think the supplier you've ordered from is different to the one I used in USA (there seems to be more available than when I was looking a few years back)
I bought one from Mat at DMGRS in the end ...but still haven't got round to fitting it!
Hope all goes well .... let us know!
I also found a source for the gasket for the solenoid casing if you need one. There's a thread on here about it which I'll track down for you if you can't find it (I'm abroad atm)
Cheers f'now
John
