Good morning Phil and everyone else in the zone. 29c, you lucky devil, it's raining and windy here.

Phil, have you ever been to Namibia? It’s a place I wish to visit for some landscape photography. I’m going to seriously look into a visit there in 2019. Is it a safe place to visit?

A very belated good morning to all the usual suspects, including the new internees
I had an early start today - had an appointment for a short back & sides and a coat of water repellent wax polish on top. Now I'm £5.50 worse off and a fair few grey hairs lighter Looks like the early onset of Winter here - a bitterly cold weekend, followed by a slightly milder day today, but then the forecast for the next 9 days is pretty bleak. Maximum temperatures of 4/5° during the day, and down to zero overnight - right into next week. There's a severe danger Marinabrian may have to put a woolly jumper on over his short-sleeved shirt if it continues

I suspect that people may well be left to find their own installer now

private air ambulance back into the UK. It’s safer than South Africa. The coast is spectacular and fascinating, also known as the Skeleton coast. There is a lot of sunshine and you have to compensate for the brightness....You would fly to Windhoek which is very clean and is a good base. I’d recommend hiring a guide. |
