Good morning Phil and everyone else in the zone. 29c, you lucky devil, it's raining and windy here.

Hi Brian
Saw the flash in the rear view mirror just as I got at the end of the lines in the road on my side of the road.

Phil, have you ever been to Namibia? It’s a place I wish to visit for some landscape photography. I’m going to seriously look into a visit there in 2019. Is it a safe place to visit?

A very belated good morning to all the usual suspects, including the new internees
I had an early start today - had an appointment for a short back & sides and a coat of water repellent wax polish on top. Now I'm £5.50 worse off and a fair few grey hairs lighter
Looks like the early onset of Winter here - a bitterly cold weekend, followed by a slightly milder day today, but then the forecast for the next 9 days is pretty bleak. Maximum temperatures of 4/5° during the day, and down to zero overnight - right into next week. There's a severe danger Marinabrian may have to put a woolly jumper on over his short-sleeved shirt if it continues

Rev
I suspect that people may well be left to find their own installer now

Rav, I was last in Namibia doing a Medi-Vac case from the bush, then a
private air ambulance back into the UK. It’s safer than South Africa. The coast is spectacular and fascinating, also known as the Skeleton coast. There is a lot of sunshine and you have to compensate for the brightness....You would fly to Windhoek which is very clean and is a good base. I’d recommend hiring a guide.
