Rover SD1 restoration project
So I was looking at rovers on Donedeal and came across this SD1. It is still available and he is looking for 200 euros.
Just hoping someone can save her.... https://www.donedeal.ie/damagedcars-...r-sd1/26786224

Unfortunately Forestt it's a 2600 so prospects are not rosy. Thanks for posting though, I'll bring it to the attention of the SD1 Club membership.

Poor old thing is looking a bit sad.
I wouldnt discount a 2600 in decent nick, they are not much slower than the V8 and the straight 6 has a nice howl too! |

Back in their day we had an SD1 2600 as a pool car and I seem to recall that it was a nice place to be a drove well, it certainly was not slow!

It's a bit like a 1.8 75 with Classic trim being referred to here rather unkindly as "poverty spec". Simon
