Fit a 'proper' rear number plate, I always think it looks much nicer with the shaped plate.

Changed my rear wheel bearings had to fight with one for a hour as one inner race deveined to stick to the shaft so had to split the back plate and everything else down to get it to move.
Then thought I'd look at my springs and lo and behold snapped so made my day. Tackled the other side 15 minutes and job done looked at spring on that side and snapped as well.

So right now I hate my life as spent far too much in the past 2 weeks on the ztt.

Got my sandblasted calipers back and painted them with rust converter and the first coat of hammerite smooth black.

Also fitted the last bit of the cruise control. I love symmetry!

Default No more dribbling : Hurrah!

Actually yesterday - but don't sweat the details. -

With the help of Phil-T4, no cut that, rather with me assisting Phil we changed my injector HP pump for the spare I had originally rebuilt rather badly. Phil has completely rebuild and re-sealed it for me. This time it must have taken less than 2 hours to change, but not sure exactly as we also had a go at removing my stubborn no. 1 injector - which still won't budge .

Anyway, after fitting the pump it appears that leaks from there are now a thing of the past. Everything completely dry . We took it for test run and still fine. Tested on the way home up to nearly 4k revs under load and no problems. Also the avg mpg display is looking even more optimistic than usual (after reset following the high rev test): but only a brim to brim check will tell for sure. A couple of things I am sure of - not leaking fuel, clutch stopped slipping now no atomised fuel finding it's way into the bell housing, and not that we didn't already know this but Phil is top chap - Thanks Phil.
