Fiddled with a H9 bulb connector on the silver saloon, to see why I’m getting intermittent bulb warnings.
The wires leading to the female receiver bit that the bulb “plugs” into have decided to part company with the female receiver bit. Ho hum.
A bumper off job to remove the headlight to fix, or......replace headlight.
Not today though....the garage is full with wheely bins that might blow over in storm ciara.🙄
Also, didn’t look at drivers side window regulator that no longer operates the window, .....window in the fully closed position.😅😅

Swapped out my stereo that suddenly packed up.
A trip to Halfrauds to part with some hard earned cash for a wiring adaptor loom to fit a Kenwood unit out of my ZS.
Not actually a difficult job to do for once, and nothing either snapped, or otherwise broke doing it!

Coded fifteen separate ECM to the ZT, I've had a stack of broken NNN500340 sitting in the back of the garage which all had the same fault, a fault which I've now sussed the cause of and rectified.

The things you do when you are bored when it's piddling down outside

I'm heading to the pub now for tea, so I can take one for a proper test drive

Nothing to the car, just walked around the garden in the pooring rain picking up the pieces of its cover that the wind had torn to shreds!

Grrrrrrrrr!!!!

Managed to catch a small drip of the fluid on the bottom of the gearbox. Thankfully looks and smells more like engine oil than ATF fluid.

Must be leaking fairly high up from the engine (rocker cover/cam seals) to get to the gearbox side of the flywheel housing...

Found the lower part of the JATCO gearbox soaked in fluid. Not engine oil but no idea where it's coming from. The lower half of the gearbox front cover is very rusty though, maybe through a hole in that?
Could it be coolant?

The wheels don't appear to have fallen off yet, so he did something right. Torqued to correct value too.

Will check in daylight tomorrow for damage...

Always dread unknown people doing work on my car...
They take photos at the start of the job in case any damage occurs. Despite this they still claimed they hadn't scratched my wheels.

It also took them 3 attempts to get the balancing right. I wish you luck!

Nope, it's definitely oil of some sort.
Having managed to catch a drip today I'm more sure that its engine oil.
