Mystery bolt hole
Directly in front & above the charcoal canister (the pipe connector end) there's a bolt hole in the chassis box section - what goes in it? I may or may not have removed something from it - either way, I've forgotten.
For those who have never seen it, the charcoal canister is on the RH side of the car (underneath), just to the right of the spare wheel well. Three pipes connect to the front of it. The hole is just in front of them and above. Petrol cars only (I think!). |

Ah, that'll be it - the cooler must be slightly longer than the charcoal canister, which has one bolt at the rear end and a hook at the front (the hook goes into a rectangular hole in the box section). The bolt visible on the rear end of the cooler in this pic must use the same hole as the bolt on the rear end of the canister. Then the bolt on the front end of the cooler (#8 here) must go into the mystery hole. So I leave it empty then. Thanks chaps. |
