Played with the TT today, dash light on so read codes and it's the rear abs sensor, job for another day. Gave both the Germans a wash and dry , new wiper blades on the TT and back to bed in the garage.

Hi Andy.
Well yes really, moving water pipes, working in confined space behind a
pedestal while lying on your back, only to find you need mort parts, so spend an hour going on a trip to find those, which in turn puts you behind schedule to do something you really wanted to do

Being behind schedule seems a normal thing when doing any necessary work!!

Lol, and don't I know it...............the person who I bought the parts from to repair the central heating boiler on Thursday of last week (collection only), finally came back to me on Thursday of this week to arrange a time, 12.30 this afternoon.

You can imagine my annoyance when he sent me a text as 12.39, demanding to know if I was still coming to collect.

As it happens I was about two minutes away, winding my way around a maze of streets in Hylton Castle.

To say I was fairly annoyed was an understatement, needless to say I won't be giving this particular Mackem positive feedback

There's not much to be done on the ZT (Fingers crossed, knocking on wood!) so I made progress yesterday stripping the MGF down to remove the gearbox.
Axles off, exhaust off, starter motor off, fluids drained. Today I am going to carry on. Not sure if I will get the rotten box out today but if not I should be close.

Mrs G asked me if I would have a look at the bush with a view to tidying it up a bit...
So after a couple of hours on my knees in front of it here's the result..
Although I say so myself looks good all smooth and shiny..
