Probably not, and worse than that you risk damaging the magnetic reluctor on the bearing if the drift slips off the sensor.

You would still have to drill it out to get it to move going by the one I had - the head would have broken off long before it moved it was that tight.

With the front ones you can drill down as deep as you want as long as you take care.
