That is uncanny?

Good evening Freddie, it’s just as well you were there to administer first aid and lots of TLC. It’s about time you enjoyed a summery day after such a bad winter.

In contrast, we had miserable weather with torrential rain, a thunderstorm and hailstones. It was hotter where you are, than us in the tropics. The silver lining to our clouds is that electricity was restored this evening after 2 days of no power

Cool It wasn't my fault..........................

...................................... I was left unsupervised. Done the weeding, moved the pots around, swept the decking down and stopped to make a brew.
Then I decided to empty the shed, found a tub of wood preservative in a pressurised container. Thought I would give it a go and started to pump up the pressure.

Pulled the trigger and nothing happened. Checked the pressure, there is a gauge on the side, still nothing happened. Checked the nozzle, couldn't see any blockage. There appeared to be a valve on the trigger so I got a screwdriver and turned it.
I suppose at some point my brown splashed shoes, trousers and t shirt will come back into fashion. Still the decking looks better.

Upstairs to make a large pot of tea.

The I found some black plastodip spray. So the bird bath got sprayed and then I did the handrail on the stairs plus the flashing on my neighbours extension.

And I moved my shed round, it's not bolted down or fixed to anything. Just stands in sheltered corner. Once moved and then I only put back in what I wanted to keep, which appeared to be everything.
Now covered in black paint and brown fencing presertive I decide I best get cleaned up.

I could barely climb the stairs but made it finally. Nice relaxing shower followed by a nice pot of tea. Then time to make dinner, pork chops and salad. Now relaxing with a pint of Adnams Ghost Ship.

A full and purposeful day for you Bob by the looks of it. Don’t go hurting or straining yourself. Have a relaxing evening, you have certainly earned it.

PERVERT!! now there's a word we haven't seen in a while. been on a carpet cleaning course today, something I hope to add to my list of business services. Very informative, but not enough to give me the confidence to go out and offer my services yet. I feel I need to know more about types of carpet and how they react to being cleaned, and gain some hands on experience with an established carpet cleaner, to sort of serve my time ,so to speak. Don't want to go into this with my eyes shut and end up getting sued.
