£120M would of kept MG Rover going about 8 weeks as the first loan was eaten up to pay suppliers. They had only 1 decent car in the range at the time and that was the R75 and was overdue for a replacement. Dont forget GM Europe nearly folded later on and they had a much better portfolio than Rover.
