Brake Fault Warning

When I started my car up this morning the info screen showed a red Brake Fault warning.

What could cause this as I'm guessing / I know

ABS is seperate warning
Brake pads are all good
Handbrake works
Brake fluid is full

What else could trigger the warning.

Assuming it is a diesel, quite common with no fault usually. I think it has to do with low vaccum, until the pump is up to "pressure".

Hi yes it is a diesel brakes seemed fine when I drove it.
Just a bit worrying when its brakes

I had this on my last 75, and also occasionally on my ZT-T.
I've read it's nothing to worry about.

My diesel has been flashing that at startup for the last nine years. There is no fault that I can find.

Mine had this and it stopped after replacing the battery. You might want to put your battery on a tester to see if it is starting to show its age.

I had this warning light last year and it was because the sensor wire had become worn through on the drive shaft, due to being mis-routed by my local servicing garage!

The information centre is always giving false alarms especially in the winter
Once on the motorway doing 70 at night & the information centre popped on saying my bonnet was open....Scared the hell out of me
