Diesel Parts Source
So, had a play with my DMF and it feel like it has excessive movement. Will be putting dial gauge on it tonight for bearing play and also radial, but looked more like 40mm to the eye
Would a failing DMF cause clutch slave to fail prematurely? So, if I need a new one, found the following so far. Simply put, the E-bay one is cheaper. Should I be worried about that when rimmer is so expensive? http://www.carparts4less.co.uk/cp4l/...64706bc&000134 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Luk-Dual-M...0YHG937IYt-l8A http://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/Item--i-STC4561A Also, does anyone have any experience with a Tazu slave? Considering the upgrade while I have it open. |

Dual mass flywhell
The consensus is to go with the OEM part made by Cortec. My original lasted over 110k miles. Jules can supply and he said to me that some pattern flywheels have not lasted even 10000 miles.

a Luk doc gives for the 415 0237 10 20 degrees or 6 teeth and a rock of 1.6 mm Would a failing DMF cause clutch slave to fail prematurely? Nothing to do IMO Seems the slave metal Tazu is reliable Mike Last edited by FrenchMike; 11th October 2016 at 07:22.. |

32mm of travel around the circumference
I though LUK were the OEM part too. Woo, another part for hte order Euro car parts - £490. Rimmer - £513. I was thinking it would be more like £300 from past posts. Anywhere cheaper at the moment? |

wow what a difference in price..
I have found euro car parts steadily getting more and more expensive lately and so I have started using other online places instead. there are a few good ebay shops around at the moment.. Kev |

However the DMF on my trade login is showing £335 as my trade price but still not good enough for me to use them for anything else but consumables. |

yep - totally Phil..
even the discount codes most of the time only take the parts down to a level where they are just above the prices obtained elsewhere.. anyway - moaning over.. lol... |
