Don't save me the leftovers today please Ian.

How is everyone on LCOZ? Still can't believe that Freddie is gone.

I do wonder a little if the man flu he had just recently weakened him.

I had the pleasure of meeting Freddie at Gaydon about four years ago. He gave me lots of knowledgeable background to some of the exhibits as we walked around.

I'm going to miss the humour, wit and nurse pictures.

Rest in peace Freddie, all the best, Stu 👍.

Nice to see you around Stu, even under the gloominess.

Oh yes! you're right, he was complaining of feeling unwell and thought it was a touch of man flu.

You not a fish person then! I love fish I could eat it everyday

Just had to order a new microwave this is the second Sharp microwave where the powder coating on the interior base has lifted from the metal leaving rusty holes the glass turn table looked like a roller coaster going round, What a pile o poop.

Sharp sent us the second one but it went the same way after 6 months light use.
Bought a Samsung microwave this time......skint again.

You don't have to be weakened by anything Ian. When I had mine I'd been fine, was at the Scottish National meet, won best ZT. During the night I got up for a pee, didn't feel "right", threw up then cold sweat and crippling pain in both upper arms. An hour or so later I had a stent! I'm just thankfully that mine was in the form of a very firm warning and not severe. In my case I had high cholesterol (didn't know) and a piece came adrift from somewhere and lodged where it could do the most harm.

Evening all.

I had a phone call from Freddie's Son this morning.

A lovely gentleman and was so nice to talk and letting him know how much his Dad meant to us all on here.
When all the details are finalised he will be letting us know the funeral arrangements and that the family would be very pleased for his friends from the club to attend.

I was working in Norwich this morning and popped round to see Jay whilst there.

Freddie meant a hell of a lot to Jay and it was nice for us both to have a hug and to share some of the stories of the times we spent with Freddie.

A light has gone out in the Chill Out Zone once more but the memories will live on forever.

If you are looking down on us Freddie you will know how very much you were loved by all of us.

Goodnight and Farewell our friend.

Thank you for the info Jeff. I will endeavour to attend Freddie's farewell.

A true Gent who always had a kind word to say about everyone, he'll be surely missed not only on here or on other club forums but by his family as well.

/Lovely words and a fitting tribute to a lovely and well respected and valued member. Another shining light has gone out and left us all in the dark.

It's certainly going to be strange without him.....Having said that, it will also be a place to go to remember Freddie and raise a glass to him and all our other friends we have lost on the forum.
