Default Sprite or A-series specialist needed

Dear Friends,

Does anyone know of anyone in the north east of England or the south east of Scotland who specialises in A-series engines or early Sprites? Unfortunately, Classic Revival is not taking on anymore work. Thank you.

Yours,

ADO13

Saunders Motor Works would be ideal, they've been in business for decades but are south coast. Doesn't say if they do a shipping service (they courier you a wooden crate and you put your engine in)

Bit of an eye-opener that more members cannot recommend a company in the north-east. I can't help in that matter as it is just about 50 years ago since we thrashed Mini Cooper S cars around the dales and wolds of Yorkshire.

Post this question in other forums which used A & B series engines in their cars as their must be an outfit in that area.

The only place I can think of other than using an engine reconditioning company, would be Green and White Mini's at Durham Road , East Rainton Houghton le Spring DH5 9QT. Tel 0191 5840010 . They may be able to advise.
